Gangway Treads Marine gangways are renowned for being extremely dangerous, especially when the angle of the gangway is steep and the surface is wet or oily or both. Some gangways have metal or wooden spars across the surface which can be a trip hazard in itself. By installing this gangway treads not only is this slip hazard eliminated but the lifespan of the underlying material is greatly increased. The gangway treads have been designed in 3 different styles (stepped, bar and elliptical) to suit your individual location These heavy duty products are easily fitted onto open grating/grille, chequered plate or wood. These treads are non load-bearing and must have a suitable underlying structure to be secured to. The anti-slip gangway are custom made products to suit individual locations, and it is available a wide range of colours to suit your individual location which will make your gangways safer. Available colour codes are: Safety yellow, Black/safety yellow, Black, Green, Grey, Blue, Red, White. Fluorescent and photoluminescent finishes. Other colours are available upon your request. These treads are designed for quick & secure fitting on your location. These secured by either mechanical fixings or adhesives. Available in a wide range of sizes for custom order to suit individual locations. Surface Grade: Available three types of surface grades; High profile – 6 mm aggregate (1/4” approx.), Low profile – 3 mm aggregate (1/8” approx.),Fine profile – 1 mm aggregate (1/16” approx.),Low profile surface grade will be supplied if any surface grade is not specified.
