Aed marine (automated external, defibrillator) "lifeforce"

Lifeforce is the world’s first and only specialist marine Type Approved automated external defibrillator (AED). Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) is the world’s biggest killer, killing over 3 million people worldwide every year. 　　The only proven way to treat SCA is by delivering an electric shock to the heart to restore a normal heart rhythm. Lifeforce has been designed to be used by non-medically trained crew, with clear verbal and visual instructions and bright, oversized buttons, for the quick, safe and portable delivery of a shock to the heart. Lifeforce automatically detects when a shock is required, ensuring that a shock is only delivered when required.　　Lifeforce has been Type Approved by Germanischer Lloyd (GL) and tested to prove its reliability in accordance with electromagnetic compatibility, humidity, pressure, radio frequency interference, saline mist, temperature and vibration. Lifeforce is manufactured under ISO 13485:2003, cleared by the FDA and CE marked to the Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC and supported by a 5 year warranty.
