Description
Most objects have an emissivity of 0.85~0.95 which is adequate for infrared thermometry, while emissivity of highly polished metal surface is poor. For the measurement of such glossy objects, it is recommended to make a thin film (coating) with black tape or spray to obtain better measurement results.
