Description
The basic construction of the diaphragm valve is quite simple. It is composed of three principal units called body, bonnet and diaphragm. It is particularly suitable for service lines handling corrosive, abrasive, viscous or fibrous fluids with the following advantages: 1. The most economical corrosion/abrasion resisting valve available today – versatile body and diaphragm materials. 2. Permanent bubble tightness against slurry, fiber and gases – resilient closure. 3. No contamination. The most suitable for the nuclear and food service – no gland packing. 4. Simple in-line maintenance – easy to disassemble and reassemble. Can be made without removing the body from the pipeline.
