Description

The Oil Seal stops oil leakage and prevents water, dust and other harmful particles from getting into the workings of bearings. It keeps the bearing clean and lubricated for smooth rotation. Besides stopping leakage effectively, the oil seal is of compact size and is easy to install and remove. Made of highly flexible synthetic rubber to match the motion of the shafts and act as an efficient sealant in simultaneous motion with the springs. There are so many types of materials and sizes of oil seals, it is impossible to code them all. For this reason, the items described below are only the standard seal designs commonly used for a variety of applications and they are not coded. Lip materials of the synthetic rubber are: Nitrile Rubber, Polyacrylate Rubber, Silicone Rubber, Fluoroelast Rubber. When ordering, please specify the following points: 1. Name of the machine and place of application. 2. Detailed information of the lubricating oil used and the ambient temperature. 3. R.P.M. of shaft. 4. Oil Seal Type /Name / No. Size: Shaft diameter x Outer diameter x Width.
