Red Handflare MK8 – SOLAS hand-held distress flare
Short-range red distress signal held in the hand to pinpoint a survivor’s position by day or night. It burns for a full 60 seconds at 15,000 candela and keeps burning normally even after immersion in water. The telescopic handle keeps the flare compact for stowage in liferafts and grab bags.
