To ensure that previous models of our lights can be replaced with more ease we have designed a mounting/adapter plate for the L170 Commercial. This new Adapter Plate is designed to help when upgrading from the existing L160 Lifebuoy Light. The new Adapter Plate is designed to be mounted onto the existing L16x Adapter plate. So, with this new mounting plate there is no need to drill new holes or change fittings if you previously had used the L16x Adaper Plate. Simply remove the old L160 mounting bracket and use the same fixings to affix the mounting plate, then, with the stainless steel screws provided, affix the new L170 Commercial lifebuoy light – simple!
