DIABLO range includes self-contained open circuit breathing apparatuses with full face mask and demand valve, in compliance with EN 137. The Diablo industrial is Type 1, for general use, and also available in the Type 2 version, which positively passed the flash-over test. This test involves an exposure of the device to heat and flame for 10 seconds at 900°, followed by a drop. During and after the test the apparatus continues to work granting positive pressure inside the mask and maintaining self extinguishing feature. Diablo Industrial (Type 1) is available, on request, for use in a potentially explosive atmosphere. DIABLO INDUSTRIAL is also MED approved.
